Did you read The 4-hour Body by Tim Ferriss?  Were you frustrated by the lack of actual recipes available?  I was.  This blog will outline some of the recipes that I have created or adapted which I believe follow the Slow-Carb outline from the book.  If you think otherwise, do let me know by commenting.  If, like me, you enjoy cooking an actual meal over defrosting a pellet of this, dumping out a can and pouring a carton of that, then  spooning out a jar of the other, this may be helpful.  Some of the recipes DO involve cans (mostly of beans because who has the energy to cook beans from scratch in the quantity needed for the Slow-Carb lifestyle?  Not me!) and where possible I will note time-savers (like frozen chopped onions or carrot batons) that can be substituted for actual peeling and chopping.  I hope to walk the line between tasty, satisfying meals that require some kitchen work but don’t keep you in the kitchen all day.

I hope some of them appeal to you.  I hope they help you stick to the plan by offering enough variety without too much work.
